The Ideal Story
Ideal Impressions was started by Ryan Bensheimer in 2005. Ryan attended the Art Institute in Chicago and worked as a commercial studio photographer for several years in Chicago. He continued his education at University of Wisconsin where he received a Masters in Curriculum and Instruction and taught for 12 years. He opened Ideal Impressions and has been training some of the best photographers in Wisconsin over the last several years. Ryan and his team absolutely Love weddings and you can tell by their passion and enthusiasm for the day.
Ryan shoots most of the Platinum weddings but is happy to connect you with the best person from our team should he not be available on your day.
Ideal Impressions has become the premiere photography company in Southeastern Wisconsin and are preferred photographers at Grand Geneva, The Abbey, Geneva National, The Riviera, Lake Geneva Cruiseline, Geneva Ridge, Lake Lawn Resort, Hawk's View, Strawberry Creek, & The Baker House.

Ryan and Krista Bensheimer live in beautiful Lake Geneva, Wisconsin with their sons Ty, Will, Kade, Reid and dog Moser. They enjoy hanging out with kids, teaching, the outdoors, volleyball, and traveling around the world. He works hard to establish a relationship with couples to truly understand their styles and personalities and uniquely capture the moments of the most important day of their lives. Ryan works with a team of photographers and editors to deliver cutting edge wedding images to Wisconsin and many great destination locations around the world! He has received several awards and is on the Photoflex Pro lighting team.
